| Content | CZ-USA Shadow 2 Optics-Ready Pistol variant of the Shadow 2 is pre-cut for an optic plate system to allow the mounting of a red dot sight. Just as the standard Shadow 2 has become the gun of choice for many USPSA Production Division competitors, the Shadow 2 Optics-Ready is ideal for USPSA Carry Optics. Building on the base Shadow 2, the OR has a slightly different slide profile to allow for its optic plate system.
The Shadow 2’s swappable mag release has an adjustable, extended button with three settings to allow shooters to set it in the spot most comfortable for them. Best of all, upgraded trigger components give smooth DA and crisp, clean SA while drastically reducing trigger reset. A hardy nitride coats the entire pistol, leaving it nearly impervious to corrosion, while the frame gets an additional layer of CZ's black Polycoat finish. Thin blue aluminum grips have healthy checkering to match the fine front and backstrap checkering of the pistol itself. Sitting atop the slide is a set of target sights — fiber optic on front and a serrated, black HAJO rear (click adjustable for elevation, drift adjustable for windage).

The SP5K was developed by Heckler & Koch as a semi-automatic, civilian sporting pistol (hence the “SP” prefix) that matches the look and ergonomics of the famous MP5K submachine gun. It is actually the second iteration of an HK commercial/civilian pistol inspired by the MP5K design.
The SP5K is designed and manufactured to meet the strict definition of a civilian pistol in the USA and can not be altered to fire in the fully automatic mode. Other features on the SP5K — including adjustable target sights and the absence of a foregrip confirm its identity and a commercial product approved for sporting purposes by both the U.S. and German governments. The SP5K is manufactured completely in Heckler & Koch’s Oberndorf factory in southwest Germany.
