Description

The 1873 peacemaker-style revolver, originally designed for the U.S. Cavalry, quickly became the archetypical sixgun of the frontier. Available in a number of powerful chamberings in different barrel lengths, besides the “peacemaker,” it was also known by other monikers like “hogleg,” smoke wagon,” and “equalizer.” In civilian hands, it quickly earned a reputation as a rugged, hard-hitting, well-balanced revolver and outsold all competitors. Men like Wyatt Earp, Bat Masterson, John Selman, the James-Younger gang, the Daltons, Texas, and later the Arizona Rangers, all packed this legendary arm and did their smoky work with it. With the coming of the Silver Screen, the Model P was reintroduced to an entirely new generation of admirers. In the hands of such Western stars as John Wayne, Roy Rogers, Hopalong Cassidy, Tom Selleck, Clint Eastwood, and countless others, this sixgun has earned lasting fame with shooters and Old West fans alike! Considered as the most authentic and highest quality reproduction of the 1873 Colt, Cimarron’s replica was reproduced in every detail from an original 1873 single action in the Cimarron antique collection and was not replicated by working simply from drawings, as with previous reproductions. Cimarron also took extra steps to improve the gun’s reliability with the Cowboy Compaction which eliminates weaknesses associated with the 19th-century design. Offered in the 7 1/2, 5 1/2, or 4 3/4-inch barrel lengths, in either the pre-1896-style Old Model with the cylinder base pin screw located in the front of the frame or the post-1896 Pre-War frame, where the cylinder base pin retaining screw is found on the side of the frame, in front of the cylinder. It comes in .32-20, .38-40, .38 Special/.357 Magnum, .44 Special, .44-40 or .45 Colt. Cimarron’s Model P is the sixgun of the West!

True to the originals, Uberti Top Break Revolvers come in 3 models, including the Russian Model with Cyrillic barrel stampings. Major George Schofield designed the Top Break as a cavalry pistol. Its efficient, break-open design could be operated with one hand. That made it easy to eject the spent cartridges and reload while on horseback. It was the Russian government that truly embraced the new sidearm. The Czar ordered 41,000 Top Breaks. Those had a modified grip design, lanyard ring, and a distinctive trigger spur.

Kimber Micro slides are made to the tightest allowable tolerances, with barrels machined from stainless steel for superior resistance to moisture. All Micro frames are shaped from the finest aluminum for integrity and strength. In many respects, a miniature 1911, among the most important Micro 9 design advantages is a single action trigger with the kind of short, smooth pull that ensures accuracy and builds confidence. The thumb safety, slide release, and magazine release are pure 1911 as well. Standard features include a lowered and flared ejection port for flawless ejection and a beveled magazine well for fast, positive loading. Sights are steel – not plastic – and mounted in machined dovetails for additional integrity. Each Micro 9 includes an extended 7-round magazine. Ideal for shooters with small hands as well as those who insist on mild recoil combined with enough power for concealed carry or home protection, Micro 9 pistols are the right choice for many applications. Best of all, they offer unequaled Kimber quality, dependability, and performance.
